This time I will review to you one of the best camera phones in Uganda (I even wrote an article covering that – Best camera phones in Uganda). And now, read and analyze the details of this smartphone. Search for price at the end!

The G3’s key factor that distinguishes it from its competition is the Quad HD LCD display. The 2,560 x 1,440 (534 pixels per inch) resolution is beautiful, but you won’t really notice the difference to other high-end displays unless you put them next to each other.

The screen can look a little washed out when you look it from different angles. Some apps aren’t optimized for the G3’s resolution so they will look a little stretched, but as the G3’s popularity soars, you can be sure that developers will be updating them.

Probably the main talking point, other than that 13-megapixel sensor, is the infrared laser focus system. This is something of a first on any camera, according to LG, and it's a technology the firm originally developed to keep its robot vacuum cleaners from banging into walls. The conical laser can apparently focus the camera in just 220ms, blowing the competition (the GS5 and HTC One, for example) away.

Those handsets take up to 300ms to focus, the company claims. That extra 80ms counts, we guess. In practical terms, while the camera definitely does focus and take pictures quickly, if no one had told us about this new feature, we most likely wouldn't have noticed too much of a difference. It's definitely quick, though, and that's what counts.

The LG G3 is just 8.9mm which means it's thinner than the G2 going by LG's 9.1mm or our own 9.4mm measurement. Either way it's impressive considering the extra tech that is squeezed in. At 75 x 146mm in size, the G3 is a large phone due to its bigger screen size compared to its predecessor and other flagship devices.

I used the this phone extensively by playing games, messaging, browsing the web and the battery dipped to 15 percent after around 8 or 9 hours. The 3000mAh cell should last you an average day without having to plug it in for a recharge. You don’t have to worry too much here.

LG has impressed us with the G3 which comes in at around 2 600 000 UGX but packs amazing features including that Quad HD and a camera with a laser auto focus. The device is surprisingly small considering the 5.5in display and we like the more premium design. It's another winner from LG.

Don’t forget to write what do you think of this mobile phone! ☺
