When an issue is raised dont answer or say a word of it in the first place. What you should do is listen to whatever the issue is, think of it in your mind silently, imagine the conversation is about you. And the last to do is to breath in and out to cool down whatever temper that arose. You can now bring out your idea on whatever conversation you are chatting on.

IM still thinking about it

the key to conversation is to bring out the person you are talking with and
get them going on a favorite subject..unless
they're total boors, they will swing the conversation toward you and your interests, giving you a chance to bring out some polished gem from
your abundant store of
knowledge! showing an interest in them and what they do will make you the sort of person others like to be with..look at the person who is speaking, and nod or smile at appropriate points..learn his or her name and use it..listening intently to what others are saying (as opposed to formulating what you will say next) is a skill worth developing, and generally your responses will be much more in tune with the conversation..wait for pauses before interjecting your opinion, and choose
gentle words to propose an opposite or potentially inflammatory topic..keep
up with your wonderful
information diet! !
