This came as a reaction to the recent
reference to his alleged Twitter page
where OBJ was said to have
described the Director of Media and
Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party
Presidential Campaign Organisation,
Femi Fani-Kayode, as a “democracy
wrecker”.
Speaking in Abeokuta February 23, the
ex leader of the country expressed
surprise over the situation, Punch
reports.
The message credited to Obasanjo read:
“Fani-Kayode is a democracy wrecker,
who’s very fluent in stupidity. Give him
food, and he will sing and do shoki
dance for you.”
In response, OBJ warned those illegally
using his name in social media:
“I don’t know where this comes from. I
don’t have any account on either the
Facebook or Twitter again. Go and block
it.
“Nemesis will catch up with anyone
doing this. It is illegal and criminal. If I
have to pass any message to the good
people of Nigeria, I know how to go
about it with no controversy.”
Interestingly, soon after Obasanjo
announced his quit from the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) it was reported
that the politician took to social media to
explain his move . The messages credited
to the former President were quite
challenging and generated a lot of
reactions.CONTINUE READING HERE
