The incumbent will actively function in these capacities:Ensure that all staff maintains a culture that emphasizes and demonstrates the importance of internal control.â¢ Carry out periodic spot checks at the dealing room to promote bankâs control visibility and inculcate sense of control awareness in the dealers
â¢ Review daily and suggest improvements to operational controls in processes and procedures.
â¢ Ensure the establishment and maintenance of systems and procedures to monitor and measure the compliance of Trading/Banking Book risks with the limits and guidelines set in the Liquidity risk policy, Market Risk policy and the Banking book interest rate risk policy.
â¢ Ensure effective compliance with agreed limits of authority and levels of access to systems and information in daily transactions processing for market dealers and other processors.
â¢ Maintain day-end and month-end data to enable reporting on current and historical compliance or non-compliance with limits and guidelines, with appropriate commentary over daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual periods.
â¢ Give prompt attention to breaches of limits and guidelines, including the development of risk mitigation strategies.
â¢ Review and Assess bankâs funding plan, including modelling alternative funding strategies.
â¢ Ensure that all routine controls relating to new products developments and business developments in Global Market are applied effectively, with particular emphasis on routine compliance.
â¢ Review of past audit and regulatory reports in Global Market (Operations and Front Office) to identify exceptions raised and monitor remedial action/ compliance and ensure adequate controls to avoid repeat findings The Job: Reward Analyst, Stanbic IBTC.
The incumbent will actively function in these capacities:
Manage All remuneration and reward process (salary increase, promotions, short term incentive schemes, long term incentive schemes) during the Annual Review.
â¢ Communicate the Total Reward to the staff which includes LTI statements, EGS statements and compiling Bonus figures during the review period.
â¢ Assist in the preparation and collection of REMCO packs
â¢ Provision of a total reward consulting to the business through effective internal and external stakeholder engagement
â¢ Keep abreast of the latest market conditions and trends in order to identify risks to the business.
â¢ Investigate new remuneration and benefits structures and models and make improvement recommendations.
â¢ Compile Remuneration and Benefits reports (monthly, quarterly and annual).
â¢ Assist in the implementation and sustenance of non-monetary recognition arrangements which will create and embed a culture of spontaneous recognition e.g. Long Service Awards.
