- Design and implement sales & distribution setup (including common corporate identity) with responsibility of rolling out plan for Infrastructure / Construction / Mining/ Farm Equipment business in Africa
- Develop support strategy including identifying suitable Distributors / Dealers / sales and service partners and manage relationships in conjunction with respective Country manager.
- Assist Country Manager in creating the sales & service organizations/ teams
- Share feedback of competition, product performance and market data (Voice of Customer) with OEMs and other stakeholders
- Manage multi border customer relationships - maintain relationship with major clients, national accounts and work with distributors to maximize prospects in each geographical area
- Identify local market needs and liaise with sales team for trade shows advertising etc.
- Identify, gather and analyze market trends, information, opportunities and threats and share the same with stakeholders within and outside the company to convert prospects to customers.
- Develop and implement robust reporting/ MIS systems, policies and processes
- Develop and implement mechanism of rating performance of distributors, and handhold them to take corrective action
