Job Title: Head of Food Production
Operations & Production
This job position will be responsible for the management of a production factory, ensure standard, compliance and optimum maximization of resources and to ensure that the factory s business is profitable.
The role is responsible for developing operational strategy, factory management, people, asset management and overall business profitability. The Production Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer
The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following, Responsible for the day to day operations of the factory "
Supervise the daily production of bread and snacks according to standard approved recipes.Supervise the entire operations of the factory which include stock inventory, production, distribution and all accounting necessities and duties associated with the production plant.
Meet customers and distributors expectation of sales and customer care
Expand the production capacity of factory managed to increase revenue and impact brand perception by increasing the distributors list or generate alternate model for increasing sales
Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of the production processes line by line while ensuring that the plant seeks to reach the 100% installed capacity within the maturity period.
Ensure the cleanliness of the factory and the compliance to the hygiene standards of the company as it relates to mixing, baking, factory premises and staff , Ensure the company meets set monthly targets; Turnover and gross profits "
Completes the Daily Reporting Sheet DRS and forward to the Regional Production Manager, Business Analyst and Audit Department
Completes the SIC reports and forward to regional Production Manager and Audit department
Evaluate the performance of store employees
Adequately manage the assets of the company and ensure there is no willful damage
Keep an accurate inventory of stocks and value and ensure effective stock in and stock out procedures
Delegate and Train employees adequately
Minimum of university degree or equivalent. Masters Degree would be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 years working experience in a recognized Bakery brand
Experienced in managing a profitable bakery brand " Familiar with the Food Industry Trends "
