Job Description
The Compliance Officer assist with the internal
compliance review and monitoring activities to
ensure implementation of the company
approved business processes and policies. The
Compliance Officer will specifically offer
assistance in enforcement services and
associated support, actively ensuring timeliness
of services and information (both internally and

Investigate assigned complaints and
coordinate action plans with other

Maintain a log of communication received

Compile reports of calls received,

recommendations developed, action plans
established, and progress noted.
Conduct mock surveys, inspections, audits
and investigations periodically to assess
staff readiness and to specifically identify
where corrective actions are needed
Perform checks and verifications on fiscal
and other documentation against actual
equipment and site conditions (if need be in
conjunction with internal/external technical
To check and verify that authorized
providers, persons and sites are abiding with
specific authorization conditions as may be
required such as relevant standards
Re-evaluate areas of previous deficiency to
identify improvements
Present written evaluations and reports to
Compliance Manager
Ensure proper records and documentation of
compliance activities, including complaints
or investigations.
University degree or Higher National
Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance or
business related course
Certifications in Accounting, Audit (CISA
certification), Project Management will be an
At least 2 years direct work experience in a
similar capacity
Competent and proficient understanding of
platforms, such as SAP, MS Navision,
Internet, Intranet etc.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide
variety of sources, including upper
management, process owners, and external
Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral
communication skills
Adept at conducting research into
compliance-related issues; must be able to
learn, understand, and apply new
