If you bying brand new pc or laptop u must make sure it is a 1)branded product
2)Check warranty card
3)Check wheather original certified installation c.d with 16 digit code given or not
4)It has latest version of software
5)Enough free space in hard disc..etc etc

CPU. Intel processors have less cores (2) but have high performance per core while AMD have greater no of cores(usually 4) bt low performance per core. good fr gaming. AMD processors also cost less than intel.
RAM. . 4gb enough. bt if u r heavy gamer...try fr 8 gb
GPU. . if u want to play latest high quality games...u must have a graphic card. either Nvidea or AMD. processors have built in graphic cards called integrated graphic card bt they r not very good fr modern games. look fr dedicated one. go fr DDR3, GDDR3, or DDR5. DDR5.GDDR5 is best bt will cost u lot lot more. fr example dell's alienware has GDDR5 equipped graphic card n cost beyond 1 lakh. mine has DDR3 n costs rs 39000. u cn get a dedicated GPU starting at 30000 approx. u don't need a GPU if u r not modern games lover
Hard Disk. . acc to ur need. 500gb is enough fr most purposes. bt if u r heavy gamer go fr 750gb or 1tb. new games uses average 18-20 gb space.

rest specifications r just flavors
